Drug and Alcohol Awareness
Working with Drug Courts across the nation, our Treatment plan for alcohol awareness and drug awareness may include individual or group counseling, or a combination of both. Counselors will work collaboratively with clients to identify their readiness to make changes in their alcohol and drug use. In addition, counselors will help clients identify healthier coping strategies to replace the use of alcohol and drugs. Working together toward the goal of lowering health risks by disengaging from harmful behaviors. Live "IN-PERSON" Online Drug and Alcohol Group treatment can help clients know that they are not alone in their struggles with alcohol and drug abuse. It is a setting for giving and receiving support and feedback about what skills and tools have been effective.
Drug Alcohol Assessment
An assessment provides an opportunity to speak one-on-one with a Domestic Violence / Batterers Intervention specialist, who will evaluate the nature of any problems a client is having. The assessment gets the client involved through discussion of biological, psychological, and social factors affecting abuse. The counselor can then make recommendations for further treatment, if necessary and appropriate. Guardian Court Ordered Classes conducts Domestic Violence / Batterers Intervention assessments and provides counseling for the judicial system or court orders. If a client needs (or may need) to document an assessment, counseling, or other service for court-related purposes, then our staff can provide that for the clients.

Theft Awareness Class
The Shoplifting and Theft Prevention Classes ($60) are awareness and prevention courses. The class is an intensive workshop that concentrates on harm reduction and lower recidivism. Participants are encouraged to discuss life circumstances and issues that have led to criminal activities. In addition to psycho-educational material, participants are presented with situational scenarios to assess their own judgements.
